Tapes are a commonly-used materials but almost disappeared in garment making industry. In this installation, tapes are transformed to serve as a constructive materials to create a soft and vibrant interior space. Transforming from a line of tape to a line of tape, this piece creates a very dynamic and three dimensional form which established a unique exterior and interior relationship with the space within which it is contained. It brightens up the public space and cheers up the passengers-by.
The visitors are invited to wander through the installation and follow the lines, look at the tapes and color in my works and feel the vibrancy and get lost in time.
